A Little Background

201 Palm was built in 1927 and has only had one owner. When the Codgill's built the home in 1927 their daughter Virginia was only 8 years old. When I bought the house I found out that Virginia has lived in the home ever since. She is 90 years old and now in a nursing home, I can only imagine how difficult it was for her to move out of her only home. This inspires me to take great care of the house and to keep the original character intact. Virginia's Real Estate Agent informed her that I really love everything about the house, all the oddities and peculiar characteristics, I think that has made her feel better about things. I plan on visting her in the nursing home soon to introduce myself and updating her on the work we do. I'll be sure to post how that goes!
